Learning Outcomes

TopThis module provides students with an opportunity to explore the unique health and wellness needs of older adults in Singapore. Students will examine theories and concepts of ageing, normal physiologic and psychosocial changes and the biopsychosocial issues associated with these processes. By developing an understanding of the specific needs of older adults students will be able to promote health and wellness for this population. Ethical and legal aspects of caring for older adults are addressed.
