Learning Outcomes

TopThis module will inform students on human centred design, human scale, ergonomics, anthropometrics, as well as human perception and their relation to the design of objects and products. The module will deal with the issues related to interaction and interface between people and designed objects. It provides students with the basic understanding of Human Factors in design. It will discuss work systems, anthropometry, ergonomics, usability, form semantics, workplace design and environmental conditions.
