This course is designed to familiarise the student with the key principles relating to various aspects of the modern law of banking.
Three main areas will be covered: bank regulation, the principles governing the bank-customer relationship and payment. The topic of payment will be subdivided into the three main methods of payment: cheques, funds transfers and cards.
NUS Compulsory Core Law Curriculum or equivalent.
Students who are taking or have taken LL4006.
