Objective ? The objective of this module is to enable students to focus on designs that are related to the consumer market, to understand the influence of marketing, advertising, branding and consumer behaviour and their effects on design. Major topics include studies related to product development for the market place, taking into account of current trends in consumer sentiments and brand awareness. It will also include the design of packaging and advertising graphics.
Prerequisites: AR1101 & AR1102 or ID1103 & ID1104 Preclusions: All non-Industrial Design students
