Understand the fundamentals of computing device.
Understand the data representation for common data types.
Appreciate the idea of how computation can be expressed as digital logic function and realized as digital circuit.
Understand the instruction execution cycle.
Understand the program execution lifecycle (edit, link, load, execute).
Understand the role of the major components in a typical computer (CPU, Memory, I/O) and the interaction between them.
