Objective ? The objective of this module is to focus students on documentation, detailing of production drawings and specifications. It will enable students to understand design implications in anticipation of the manufacturing process and production. Major topics will emphasize detailing from the design point of view. It will include drawing conventions, specification writing, knowledge of national standards in industry and current mass production practice.
Prerequisites: ID3101 & ID3102 or ID3103 & ID3104 Preclusions: Module not offered to non-industrial design students
