Assignments include a mixture of written and programming assignments. All assignments are to be done
. Programming language used is Python 3. PyTorch, an open-source Python package for deep neural networks, will be used.
Midterm test will be held in week 7 (on 5 Oct 2018, 9am - 10am). SOC mandates that every student must sit for the midterm test of a module. So if a student cannot sit for the midterm test due to some legitimate reason (like on medical leave), then the student must sit for a make-up midterm test (on 10 Oct 2018 2pm - 3pm).
Midterm test (1 hour) and final exam (2 hours) are both
book, but one double-sided A4 size sheet is allowed on which anything can be written.
