Objective ? This is a foundation module that serves to introduce basic communication techniques, the fundamental principles of design and design methods. Topics ? The module will deal with the subject of human perception in the reading and understanding of design. Issues related to space, form, order will serve as essential design generators. The module will also provide the requisite grounding in visual language, design thinking and graphic communication. Graphic communication will include basic drawing skills and the use of common rendering media for two and three-dimensional representation.
Prerequisites: Nil Preclusions: All non-architecture students
