Board of Discipline Summary Case
Students are expected to attend all classes.It is the student’s responsibility to
obtain lecture notes and assignments for any missed classes. Students with
excessive absences, excused or not, are unlikely to pass the class.
: Classroom disruptions include, but are not limited to, entering or
exiting class during class time without an emergency, eating in class,
cell phones, speaking disrespectfully toward others, using profanity, and using
languages other than English. Each student is allowed two warnings;
each violation after two warnings will result in a 2 point reduction from the
student's final score.
: Late work will not be accepted without an official excuse.
Those with an official excuse must turn in their work or make up an in class
assignment/pop quiz, on the day after the excused absence. Those
officially missing exams must make up the exam within one week; it is the
student's responsibility to make arrangements with the instructor. Please
note that NUS policies and procedures do not allow students to make up final
