Academic Integrity : NUS publications, guidelines, and consequences govern all matters pertaining to academic integrity. Please see the following documents:
Absences: Students are expected to attend all classes. It is the student’s responsibility to obtain lecture notes and assignments for any missed classes. Students with excessive absences, excused or not, are unlikely to pass the class.
Classroom Disruptions : Classroom disruptions include, but are not limited to, entering or exiting class during class time without an emergency, eating in class, cell phones, speaking disrespectfully toward others, using profanity, and using languages other than English. Each student is allowed two warnings; each violation after two warnings will result in a 2 point reduction from the student's final score.
Late Work : Late work will not be accepted without an official excuse. Those with an official excuse must turn in their work or make up an in class assignment/pop quiz, on the day after the excused absence. Those officially missing exams must make up the exam within one week; it is the student's responsibility to make arrangements with the instructor. Please note that NUS policies and procedures do not allow students to make up final exams.
