Course Objectives: The fundamental objective of this course is to provide students with a basic foundation in understanding the basic principles of behavior in organizations. Students will learn theoretical frameworks as well as engage in “action learning” exercise where such principles are recognized and practiced.
Course Objectives: Students will be evaluated on four components over the semester.
1. Quiz performance. There will be two short quizzes given during he course covering the textbook and readings. (weight =-15% for each quiz)
- Group performance. Students will be asked to form groups and develop a “case” concerning some aspect of organizational behavior or fundamental. Each group will present the case and their analyses to other groups and the instructor. (weight = 30%).
- Individual Case. Each student will develop their own individual cases for evaluation to the instructor at the end of the semester. (weight = 30%).
- Participation in class (weight = 10%).
