Learning Outcomes

TopTo understand the global and local importance of tuberculosis as a major infectious disease and public health threat; to be aware of the patient groups at particular risk of infection and disease; to know the common clinical presentations of the disease, the clinical and laboratory techniques used to confirm the diagnosis, and principles of the epidemiology, prevention and control of tuberculosis.
