ECONOMIC ANALYSIS OF LAW I

This is an introductory course in Law and Economics. Through this course students will learn the basic methodology of Law and Economics and its major implications. Some principles of certain substantive and procedural laws will be discussed, together with economic reinterpretation of these principles. The principles to be discussed will be drawn from various law areas including the following: property law, contract law, torts, criminal law and public enforcement of law, litigation and legal procedure, corporate law, competition law, and intellectual property law.
NUS Compulsory Core Law Curriculum or equivalent.
3-hrs continuous weekly seminar
